As a member of the North America Channel Sales team, the Maintenance Renewal Specialist will be tasked with capturing an increasing percentage of the outstanding StorageCraft software maintenance renewal opportunity. As a channel company, this will have to be done in a way to manage and even strengthen relationships with existing channel partners and potential new partners. The primary focus of this position will be to ensure that every StorageCraft VAR and end-user customer is given the opportunity to keep a current maintenance agreement in order to be eligible for the ongoing benefits of technical support and product upgrades that maintenance provides. A substantial part of the position will be completing outbound phone calls engaging partners and end-user customers to help close renewal opportunities. The Maintenance Renewal Specialist will be assigned a quota based on the outstanding renewal opportunity. The most important success metrics will be based on achievement of assigned quota, and capturing an increasing percentage of the renewal opportunity. The successful candidate should have an understanding of a two-tier software distribution model, and must be able to work independently, and also integrate as a member of a team. The specialist will work as a component of StorageCraft's North America Channel Sales team and the majority of the their responsibility will be to close maintenance renewals through the various indirect channels available. The position will also help members of the channel sales team to be aware of and close maintenance renewals with partners in individual territories.
