Myriad Genetic Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual with medical administrative/clerical experience to fill the position of insurance Reimbursement Clerk. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Reimbursement Specialist in the completion of requests for medical records and/or other forms and correspondence as needed for payors and healthcare providers.

Duties: |
The Reimbursement Clerk is responsible for assisting the Reimbursement Specialist in the completion of requests for medical records and/or other forms and correspondence as needed for payors and health-care providers.
Additional duties include:
•Processing appeals
•Processing refund requests
•Researching and reconciling credit balance accounts
|
Qualifications: |
•Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical office or laboratory setting.
•Must be able to type 40 wpm and have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
•Must have excellent organizational, communication, multitasking and teamwork skills.
•Knowledge of Medical Terminology, ICD9 codes, CPT & HCPCs codes a plus.
