Description: |
KnowledgeBlue LLC offers Global Outsourcing services and web hosting to small and medium businesses and is an Application Service Provider.
This is a hands-on position. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team of top-notch developers responsible for extending our flagship ERP product, openBLUE, and working with our customers to implement openBLUE within our ASP environment. This will involve application development as well as web design/development skills. We are looking for someone with strong problem solving skills, technical savvy, and great written and verbal communications skills.

Duties: |
• Delivery of ERP-system software solutions to our clients. This is a client-billable position
• Providing cutomized solutions and ERP system enhancements to our clients. |
Qualifications: |
Skills required:
• Expert in Java/J2EE development;
• Lots of experience with SQL and Oracle;
• Should be very familiar with other Web technologies such as DHTML, JSP, XML, DOM, Javascript, Ajax, CSS
• Experienced with SOA and WebServices development.
• Experienced with web development frameworks, Struts, JSF, or equivalent;
• Knows how to work in a team/collaborative environment;
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to interact with clients in a professional, articulate way.
Other desirable skills:
• Minimum of five years in IT-related occupations;
• Experience with e-commerce environments;
• Experience in problem resolution with IT systems and individuals;
• Ability to interact with clients in a professional, articulate way;
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Platforms and Software tools:
Familiarity with a majority of the following: Linux, Apache, CVS, Eclipse, MySQL, Apache Commons, Apache Axis, SubVersion, JSR-168 Portlets, JUnit, Java static analysis and profiling tools, offshore development, LDAP, Unix shell scripts.
