This is a hands-on position. Reporting to the VP of Services, the ideal candidate will be a PMI-certified project manager with 4 - 6 years experience implementing ERP / CRM / e-Commerce IT solutions. Previous experience with any of the leading software applications in this field, and open source solutions, will be a solid predictor of success at KnowledgeBlue. The role requires project managers to take full P&L responsibility for major IT projects, including sales proposals, client contracts and subcontractors. It requires excellent organizational and communication skills in a matrix-managed organization. Our project managers are capable of effectively addressing both business-related and technology-related issues. Candidates must expect 25 to 40% of work activities to be at our clients sites |
Duties: |
Full life-cycle ownership of client projects from sales to support.
Establishing a project management and control environment to enable effective planning, resourcing, cost control, third-party management and project communications.
Defining project scope, elaborating requirements and identifying project deliverables and associated quality criteria.
Client relationship management, contract administration and scope control.
Project resource estimation, planning, mobilization, management, mentoring and development.

Qualifications: |
Skills and Experience:
Familiarity with ERP, CRM and BI systems.
Enterprise application system development and implementation.
A 10-year track record of successful project management, team leadership and team mentoring.
Familiarity with Information Technologies (Oracle, open source and J2EE is preferred)
Experience with formal project management and system development methods, tools and techniques (RUP is preferred)
A 5-year track record with major IT projects and PMO-based management processes.
Client management expertise.
Education:
A degree in a business or technology discipline
A PMP (or a commitment to become a PMP in one year)
