Description: | | Moxtek, Inc.'s optical division focuses on optical components and biomedical test structures in the visible, ultra violet, and infra red regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. We are looking for experienced and creative individuals to support market research, new product development, process integration, and manufacturing improvements. | Duties: | • Work in a team environment with cross functional teams and multiple disciplines
• Evaluate and document research, "best of" practices, perform world class bench mark evaluations, component functionality
• Release "design for manufacturability" documented and tested products for operations
• Consult and problem solve in critical areas of the company
• Hands on operation of manufacturing tool base and understanding of operation and theoretical implications
• Self motivated to search for solutions and share knowledge and understanding with others
• Knowledgeable and some exposure in modeling or analytical software or analytical tools
• Failure analysis and customer interface skills are preferred
| Qualifications: | • Bachelors degree in chemistry, physics, engineering, material science or comparable scientific discipline is desired, Masters/PhD degree preferred
• Seven or more years experience as a senior level engineer in a Research and Development environment
• A background in semiconductor or related technical process/manufacturing experience is desired
• Statistical process control and manufacturing discipline are beneficial
Qualifications That Will Help You Stand Out From The Rest:
1) Semiconductor or related development experience.
2) Deposition experience – specifically sputter on an AMAT system.
3) Senior position of 10+ years.
4) Knowledge of metal AND dielectric sputtering is desired.
