We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Hosting team. The Project Manager provides task, resource, scheduling and communication coordination in implementing and supporting Tomax software applications to our hosted customers. In addition, this position is responsible for general project coordination with an emphasis in coordinating many small, focused technology projects over short durations. Projects assigned are normally smaller task subsets of larger project initiatives.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Assisting in the solicitation of customer business requirements and objectives for software hosting needs;
· Developing scope of work breakdown by estimating time frames and quantity of resources required to successfully complete all objectives;
· Assisting in the coordination of resources to define hardware and software configuration needs and complete work;
· Conducting testing of applications as needed throughout project lifecycle;
· Conducting periodic status checks with customers and team to assess progress against project plans;
· Keeping projects on track, on time and on budget;
· Providing direction to junior members of the team;
· Working closely with external auditors to ensure security and regulation compliance; and
· Maintaining all training and certification requirements for individual employees and the Hosting team.
The successful candidate must possess:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field;
· 2+ years experience in project management within a technology-oriented field;
· Effective interpersonal, presentation, organizational and planning skills;
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
· Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high accountability environment;
· Proactive work ethic;
· Knowledge of operating systems and networking principles desired;
· Prior experience with retail systems as a user or administrator desired; and
· The ability to travel as needed.
