| Myriad Genetic Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual with medical billing/collection experience to fill the position of insurance Reimbursement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting on outstanding balances for a specific group of payors to assure maximum reimbursement. A proven track record of experience in DSO & aged receivable reduction is highly preferred. |
Duties: |
•Collecting on all outstanding balances for a specific group of payors to ensure timely payment and contractual reimbursement
•Working aged accounts
•Submitting appeals or corrected claims
•Processing adjustments as needed
•Researching, reconciling and refunding credit balance accounts

Qualifications: |
•Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in medical billing/collections.
•Blue Cross Blue Shield experience is a plus.
•Must have knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding.
•Excellent organizational, communication, multitasking and teamwork skills.
