We are looking for an Oracle Forms Developer II to join our Merchandise Management and Store Operations Development team. The Merchandise Management and Store Operations Development team creates retail management applications that allow retailers to manage merchandise across their stores and run the day-to-day operations of each store. The Oracle Forms Developer II provides development, testing and implementation of forms, reports and PL/SQL packages using Oracle technologies to support the daily store operations of our retail customers.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Maintaining current headquarter and store functions within Retail.net© software products;
· Designing and developing applications through Support issues from error investigation through delivery of a solution to the customer;
· Participating in design and code reviews;
· Writing required design and analysis documents for related applications to be utilized by other development team members and customers;
· Creating technical documentation for retail customers and Support personnel;
· Traveling to customer sites to assist with the implementation and training of various forms, reports and packages;
· Participating in other development type activities relating to the Merchandise Management and Store Operations development team; and
· Other projects and tasks as assigned by management.
The successful candidate must possess:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related degree or equivalent work experience;
· 3-5 years programming experience in application development;
· 6-8 years experience with Oracle Development, which may include experience with Oracle DBMS, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL or similar tools;
· Experience with retail solutions, such as inventory control, cash management, purchase order management, and handheld/RF applications is helpful, but not required;
· Good analysis and research skills;
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
· Excellent PC skills; and
· Ability to travel if required
