Description: |
The successful candidate will participate in the design and development of automation systems in the laboratories. Activities will include the evaluation, selection, development and implementation of new robotic technologies for the clinical lab. This will involve the writing and maintenance of robot code and applications for LIMS integration and stand alone instruments. This will also involve robotic coding enhancements to existing platforms. The candidate will work in a team environment, interacting with internal customers in the clinical molecular genetic laboratories.

Qualifications: |
Minimum Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, related degree, or equivalent experience.
Relational database experience (prefer Oracle).
Solid programming experiences, good project management skills, strong oral and written communications skills.
Ability to learn fast and work under pressures.
Detail oriented with attention to process.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and task assignments with ease.
Preferred Skills:
Experiences of liquid handlers like Biomek FX, Tecan EVO and Velocity 11 products
Experience on VB.net programming
Experience with Html, XML, VBScripts
Experiences with Access or Oracle
