Do you have a science background and love working in a lab? This may be the position for you. Nelson Laboratories, Inc. is a contract Microbiology testing lab. We work with some of the top medical device and pharmaceutical companies in the world, including many fortune 500 companies.
We currently have an open position for a Microbiology Lab Analyst in our Microbiology Section.
Hours are Tuesday- Saturday 9:00AM – 5:00PM with some flexibility required/available |
Duties: |
• The analyst position is in our Water, Plate Counts, and Microbial Limits testing lab, which requires aseptic technique and the ability to work in a biosafety cabinet for extended time periods.
• The ability to perform routine tasks.
• Attention to detail and written instruction.
• Working individually and also in a team environment.
• Documentation and organizational skills to manage a large sample volume.
• Perform the hands on testing process from set up, performance of the test, to clean up.
Successful candidates must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications: |
Positions require an Associate Degree or High School diploma and one year applicable laboratory experience (B.S. preferred).
This position requires successful completion of a drug test and criminal background check.
