| Responsible for coordination and management of up to eight Regional Medical Specialists (RMS), and their activities. This position will play a key role in development of long term strategy for effective RMS implementation for Oncology Predictive and Personalized Medicine products. |
Duties: |
1) Personnel management and performance evaluation
mentorship of Regional Medical Specialists
coordination of internal training and continuing education
administration and scheduling of RMS activities via area sales managers
field travel to directly evaluate RMS presentation/education skills and events
development of metrics for impact of RMS events
2) Active Liaison between Medical Services, Marketing and Sales
facilitate appropriate communication between RMSs and sales area managers through one on one interactions and participation at key regional and national meetings.
3) Assist in Creation and Implementation of Strategies for increasing the utilization of Myriads products
work existing genetic counseling, nursing, and physician organizations as required
identify ways to increase number of health care professionals educated in genetic counseling aspects
serve as clinical education liaison as needed for other advocacy groups, professional organizations, and societies
Participation in corporate projects will be an increasingly important element of the position with increasing tenure in the position.

Qualifications: |
Minimum Requirement:
Relevant Degree in clinically related field: Masters Degree in Genetic Counseling or nursing, or RN, healthcare educational experience in an industry setting.
