| The primary responsibilities of the Linux Kernel Developer is to design, implement and maintain Linux kernel modules and drivers related to Solera Networks products. |
Duties: |
-Experience with Linux 2.6 kernel
-Experience designing, implementing and documenting Linux kernel modules
-Experience implementing and maintaining Linux device drivers
-Experience with VFS and Linux file systems
-Experience with TCP/IP and associated networking protocols
-Experience with network packet analysis
-Experience with unit testing and working closely with QA
-Very strong troubleshooting skills
-Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills |
Qualifications: |
-BS Degree in Computer Science or related field
-5-7 years system development |
